I’m Not Here Right Now is an exploration of chance, and the relationship between digital and analog processes.

There is a transfer of energy between both formats that can be unpredictable. These moments are individual and often lost. This work is a collection of these moments.

Audio equipment: Elektron Analog Four MKII, Elektron Digitakt, Moog Minitaur and a TASCAM Porta Studio MKII.

Video equipment: Videonics MX1, BPMC Video Nasty, a Samsung LCD and a Sony A7 MKII.

Source material was sampled from the 1952 film FEAR AND DESIRE; Directed, Produced and Edited by Stanley Kubrick, with original composition by Gerald Fried.
